I got this done by Lexi at Spider Monkey Tattoo in Olympia. He’s absolutely great, very professional and fast as hell.
I am a writer and growing up reading Calvin and Hobbes made me want to be as literate as possible. Bill Watterson is also an artist who has a lot of integrity and skill, this is one of his most fantastic images, imo. I talked about getting this tattoo for probably 3 years before I actually did it.
Im a big fan of Alice’s Adevntures in Wonderland, as well as Through the Looking Glass. I found this picture drawn up online, and decided i liked it enough to get it as-is (I usually have my work personalized, so it was kind of a big deal). My tattoo artist is Christine Jones, in East Providence, RI. Head over to Color Creations in you’re in the area!
This is the start to my Bioshock themed sleeve. This is my third tattoo and my nerdiest one. I absolutely am in love with it so far and cant wait to finish it up. Done by Scott White at Rise Above in Orlando, FL.
My new tattoo made by Snipes Tattoo, Brazil, Brasília.
It’s the golden ratio and the result is 1.618, the number of perfection or phi. The divine proportion that can be found at many renaissance master pieces, including Monalisa. Represents for me the perfection of art, music and literature.
Because I was more afraid of C3PO than Darth Vader when I was 5.
Because this was the beginning of my relationship with my father.
Because I love my dad and my childhood.
and Because I fucking love star wars.
Done by Alex at Artkore in Normal, IL.
This photo was taken right after they were finished.
I literally don’t know where I would be or what I would be doing with my life if it weren’t for my parents. These tattoos are hopefully self explanatory; my dad’s love for Star Wars and my mom’s love for unicorns.
My artist is Andre Servin @ Nite Owl Tattoo in Hillcrest. San Diego, California. :)
Done by Terry Bowness @ScreamingInk Belleville ON.
I got jack done for my 18th birthday. The Nightmare Before Christmas was my all time favourite movie as a child. Aside from that, I’ve always loved Jack. Making him look evil and sinister also ties into me because I’m a huge horror fan.
